Aphra Brandreth has been elected as the Member of Parliament for Chester South & Eddisbury after receiving 19,905 votes resulting in a majority of 3,057 following the General Election that took place on 4 July 2024.

Aphra visited one of our fantastic local, independent pharmacies today. Meeting with pharmacist Kenny, who has been running Holmes Pharmacy in Kelsall for the past 12 years.
Aphra met with some of the team, trustees and volunteers at the Kelsall Wellbeing Hub. The hub has activities and support for all age groups, as well as a coffee shop and lovely garden to sit and enjoy.
A celebration of Inspirational Women has been held at Number 10 Downing Street.
Aphra Brandreth was joined by other female candidates from across the country who are standing in the general election. The event was hosted by Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Laura Trott MP.
Aphra Brandreth has been made an honorary Vice President of the Conservative Women’s Organisation at the National AGM on Saturday. The CWO is the oldest women’s political organisation in the world.
Aphra visited Chester business school at Churchill House in Queen’s Park. The business school is thriving with around 1500 Post Graduate students and 1000 undergraduate students, and engaging with around 1700 businesses across Cheshire.
Aphra Brandreth met today with a representative of the Environment Agency discussing a number of issues around flooding and pollution, including the importance of natural flood management.

This week Aphra Brandreth and Cllr Razia Daniels met with the Head Master at The King’s School. They were able to congratulate the Head on recently being awarded North West Independent Secondary School of the Year.
Aphra Brandreth recently visited the Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Chester, along with Cllr Simon Eardley, to hear about the exceptional care they provide and was shown around their facilities.
