In Kelsall today, Aphra Brandreth met with Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner, John Dwyer, for an update on what he’s working on and to discuss local crime concerns.
I met today with Cllr James Pearson in Wrenbury for an update on everything he has been doing to help residents in his ward. In particular he is working hard to resolve local flooding.
I’ve been supporting our fantastic high streets, shops and markets across Chester South an Eddisbury today. I started my morning in Westminster Park with Cllr Razia Daniels, who holds a monthly Street Surgery across her ward of Handbridge Park.
Volunteering at the Malpas Community kitchen
This week I helped out at the Malpas community kitchen. It is run by a fantastic team of volunteers with Cllr Rachel Williams cooking a delicious hot meal every Wednesday. This is a wonderful community initiative bringing people together.
Supporting small businesses on our fantastic high streets, and pushing back against parking charges that would impact Audlem's businesses and the resulting impact for the whole community, it has been another busy week in Chester South & Eddisbury.
It was an honour today to lay a wreath on behalf of Edward Timpson MP at Cuddington and Sandiway War Memorial Garden. It was wonderful to see so many people at the memorial and there was a lovely tea in the Church Hall afterwards where the community gathered together.
In my first week since being selected as the Parliamentary Candidate for Chester South & Eddisbury I have been meeting people locally and making sure that I am hearing directly from people about their priorities.
