On Friday, 22ndMarch, Aphra Brandreth was invited to visit the Baitul Futuh Mosque in Morden, to show her support and solidarity with London’s diverse Muslim communities following the shocking terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand last Friday 15thMarch.

There were representatives from all faiths, political Parties and none, in a vigil which remembered the victims of the Christchurch terror attacks.

Aphra said: “We have all been shocked by the atrocious events in New Zealand and our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been involved. Today was an opportunity to come together and stand up against terror and hatred. I would like to thank the Baitul Futuh Mosque for inviting me to join with them in remembering the victims and for all the work the Ahmadi community do to tackle extremism.”
