Aphra Brandreth visits Motspur Park to hear about Fulham’s charity foundation work in Kingston

Motspur Park visit

On 1st March Aphra Brandreth and Mims Davies MP, the Conservative Minister for Sport and Civil Society, met with the Chief Executive of Fulham Football Club Alistair Macintosh and Mike McSweeney, Chief Executive Officer, Fulham Football Club Foundation.

During a tour of the club’s Motspur Park Training Ground, they heard about the work of the foundation from walking football to dementia friendly games, reaching out to 12,000 people every season. The club do extensive outreach work in local communities, and say that at the heart of our work is a commitment to empowering the most vulnerable members of the communities in which we work.
