Aphra Brandreth deciding the winner of her 2024 Christmas Card Competition

Aphra Brandreth, Member of Parliament for Chester South and Eddisbury, is delighted to announce the opening of her 2025 Christmas Card Competition, inviting all primary school children across the constituency to take part in this festive tradition.

The competition gives young people the chance to showcase their creativity, with the winning design featured on the front of Aphra’s official Christmas card. This card will be sent to HM The King, Members of Parliament, local businesses, and community leaders. In addition, four runners-up will have their artwork displayed inside the card.

Aphra said:

“Last year’s entries were absolutely fantastic, and I can’t wait to see the festive creativity from our local children again this year. It’s always a joy to celebrate their talent and share their designs with the wider community.”

Competition Details:

  • Design Size: A5
  • Include: Full name, age, school, and class
  • Deadline: Friday, 7th November
  • Send Entries To: 58a High Street, Tarporley, CW6 0AG
    • (Entries can be posted or dropped off. Schools have also received prepaid envelopes for convenience.)

This annual competition is a wonderful opportunity for children to express their artistic skills and spread some Christmas cheer. Aphra looks forward to seeing the imaginative designs that will make this year’s card truly special.
