Aphra with local business owner

Aphra Brandreth has been meeting local businesses to hear about the opportunities and challenges locally for companies. She is focussed on supporting and championing local industry, to enhance and create opportunities for local jobs and to boost the economy.

Aphra says: "There’s so much creativity and entrepreneurship happening with local businesses creating new tech, providing high quality solutions, growing employment and boosting our rural economy.

Great to hear positive feedback from the Help To Grow Initiative with Government Funding to provide Training to help SME business leaders to increase productivity, seize investment opportunities and grow their business. Small businesses are the engines of our economy and I’m focussed on ensuring they are supported to start up, flourish and grow."
