Aphra Brandreth met with staff and a trustee of the Tarporley War Memorial Hospital today to hear more about the services currently provided and to get a tour of the facilities.

The Tarporley War Memorial Hospital started a new partnership in 2022 with the Countess of Chester Hospital Trust. The site now offers a range of services including ultrasound, physiotherapy, neurotherapy, podiatry, community midwife clinics, GP minor surgeries, private counselling and therapy services and much more.

Alongside the NHS services provided, the Hospital Trust are leading on a number of projects to bring new services and support to the local community. There is a Tinnitus Awareness Week coming up, there will be testing for Cardiac Risk in the Young this summer and there is a plan to create a sensory garden which will be a great asset for the community.

Aphra says: “It was wonderful to look around the Tarporley War Memorial Hospital and hear about the range of services on offer. The trustees have worked hard to secure this new partnership with the Countess of Chester Hospital. It is great to hear about the new services and partnerships that the hospital is bringing forwards, ensuring that it continues to be a great asset for the local community.”
