Aphra Brandreth organised and chaired a panel at today's Conservative Party Conference in Manchester discussing the Future of Energy in the UK.

Aphra was joined on the panel by Chris Green MP, Vicky Ford MP, Cllr Alix Mathieson and Sarah Richardson (Senior Advisor, Gren Energy Ltd)

The expert panel answered questions from the floor and had a wide ranging and passionate discussion, ranging from policy ideas and future energy solutions from nuclear to hydrogen and carbon capture. Exploring the implications for UK business and consumers, as the UK expands local, low-carbon sources for its energy supply over the coming years, moving towards a low carbon, energy independent future.
