Aphra Brandreth, MP for Chester South and Eddisbury, had a really useful meeting with Alan and Berthold from the Protect Malpas group.
They discussed the proposed sale of land off Wrexham Road and the concerns many residents have about what that could mean for the future of Malpas.
Aphra has always been clear that our Green Belt and open countryside should be protected. Villages like Malpas have a unique character, and once green spaces are lost, you can't get them back.
She will continue working with residents, Protect Malpas and local councillor Rachel Williams to make sure local voices are heard and that there is openness and transparency as discussions continue. Thank you to Alan and Berthold for taking the time to meet with me
