At today's Conservative Women's Organisation (CWO) AGM and Conference, Aphra became the new National Deputy Chairman alongside Neeti Gupta and Rushi Millns. The new Chairman is Pamela Hall OBE.
The CWO is the oldest women's political organisation in the world and aims to help women to progress within the Conservative party, to ensure that women's voices are heard in policy development and to support more women to stand for elected office. Aphra said "I am delighted that as well as continuing in my role as Chairman of the CWO in the South East region that I am now deputy Chairman for the CWO nationally. This is an important organisation that is providing support, mentoring and training to women on their political journey."
