“I would like to thank my team for their hard work throughout the campaign. Over the course of the last nine months we have knocked on thousands of doors and spoken to many constituents. We were determined to run a campaign that put the people of our constituency first, asking voters to support our plan for Chester South & Eddisbury, and I am thrilled that I can now deliver on these pledges in Parliament.

“I would also like to congratulate the new Prime Minister, Sir Kier Starmer, and his team on their victory tonight. The Prime Minister’s success will be the country’s success and I will work constructively with Parliamentary colleagues of all parties to deliver the best results for Chester South & Eddisbury.”
